Newcastle Gig - telephone on stage

I'm intrigued, last night at the Newcastle gig, just before the encore, the roadies carried a box on to the stage with a white telephone on the top.

It wasn't used, or referenced by the band, so what on earth was it for?!?

FLC were brilliant mind - loved hearing Frankie and Fast rap! Much better than the last tour they had a couple of years back.

I was wondering the same - I did notice though that before the start of the first encore (after the backline got changed around a bit) one of the roadies went over and picked it up and put it back down again when they were finished changing the stage?

They used it at Glasgow to do an intro (for the song with Mike Strutter on the new cd).

Must have decided not to play the song.

A friend told me they played Korean Bodega, no idea what else was played though.
